Improvements:
To improve my magazine, I need to improve my in design skills
as when I was using the In Design software it took me longer to use compared to
other software such as Photoshop. The things I found difficult about the
software was figuring out what the tools were and what they are used for. In
future I will make sure I know how to use all the tools on in Design so I can
work quicker and more efficiently so I’m not wasting any time. In addition, I
need more text for the articles in my magazine I need to improve on how much I
am writing for my double page spread as I found I was struggling for text and
found it hard to write more. Lastly, I need to be taking more shots for my
pictures in my magazine so I have back-up images and do not waste time taking
more later on. This will allow me more time to work on my magazine.
Strengths and improvements for my magazine’s double page spread
This is an image of my double page spread I created for my
unit 3 coursework. I created my double page spread on in design software, this
is because it is of an industry standard, and makes it look professional. What
I like about my magazine the most would be the images of I took for the double
page spread, I believe they look very high standard the brightness, and
lighting of the images is what make them so clear and eye catching. The article
talks about top trends, based on people different cultures, this links to the
client brief as talking about the different cultures is what makes it inclusive
and have a community perspective, by talking about all of the different
cultures that are in society.
To improve my double page spread I would make sure that I had
more content for example, more text for my article. Although I really like my
images, next time I would add more of a variety of Images, not just of the
model.
